Emotional Intelligence and Employee Satisfaction impact on HR

INTRODUCTION

Emotional intelligence can be put with simple words as the ability to understand others to make positive decisions in managing the needed decision making. As the thinking applications and emotions are released at a positive level, the need and want to practice this in daily operations is a need (MacCann, et al., 2020; Raghubir, 2018).

Employee job satisfaction is a critical fact in the organizations and it needs higher consideration in outcome generation as it makes the performance management in the organization as well (Wen, et al., 2019). Thus, employee job satisfaction is needed in organizational settings (Sudibjo & Sutarji, 2020).

Emotional intelligence is playing the important role in making satisfaction in a job as it makes the following outcomes (Lee & Chelladurai, 2018).

Ø Increasing the level of trust of the employees with the formal and informal conversations

Ø Understanding the employees in a positive manner

Ø Providing the positive feedback in making better contributions to the development

Ø Acknowledging the employees’ ideas

Ø Listening to the employees and making the necessary decisions

Leaders are needed to have a clear idea of the emotional intelligence factors as per these considerations and it can be recorded as important to make the training and development on the emotional intelligence applications to make a better outcome for the employee satisfaction (Miao, et al., 2017)

(Miao, et al., 2017). Favorable thoughts and guidance can be granted to the employees successfully with the best applications in emotional intelligence development.

Development of the skills in making better idea generation in the management of emotional intelligence factors is a must as it makes better development opportunities in employees and supervisor connections which makes the positive outcomes in satisfaction level (Wen, et al., 2019).
